A Note From The Director
From the liner notes:
We hope
you enjoy these sounds that have taken us a lifetime to develope.
We started creating our music nearly fourty years ago as enthusiastic
young men in high school and college with aspirations to perform
together and share our music with fellow dreamers. We practced
hard, celebrated wonderful times together as best friends, and
played professionally in the hottest jazz venues of the times.
In 1959
our dream was put on hold when our trumpet player, yours truely,
was drafted into the U.S. Army. The years passed and we went
our seperate ways, maintained our independent professional lives,
but kept our dream close by. While we each cultivated accomplished
casreers in business, engineering, academia, and music, we never
lost touch with each other. In fact, music and friendship became
more and more important as the years went by.
Now, four
decades after our dream began, we are ready to rekindle it.
Won't you join us as we give life to the harmony and rhythm
of our enduring friendships, musical passion, and lifelong dreams?
Sincerely,
Dr. Rick Luindquist
Director
